Where appropriate, high beam (also known as high beam) can make everyone on the road safer to drive. However, if it is not used properly, the high beam lamp can cause major safety hazards. Knowing how and when to use high beam is essential for every driver.

What is a girder?

High beam allows you to choose to make your headlights brighter. They are sometimes called high beam lights, while your standard headlights are called low beam lights or low beam lights. The high beam of most vehicles is controlled by the left handle, which also controls the indicator.

In some cars, high beam headlights use different bulbs from low beam headlamps. Other bulbs contain two filaments in the same bulb: one for high beam and the other for low beam.

When your high beam is turned on, your headlights will be noticed immediately. They can also illuminate larger areas and let you see more roads ahead. This is very useful in some cases.

There are many alternative names for the main beam, and the following is the most popular list:

When to use high beam?

High beam is ideal for driving at night in low light areas. Your low beam lights are usually bright enough in cities, where there are many street lights, but they may not be bright enough on country roads. Without street lights, it may be difficult to see far enough ahead to avoid obstacles such as pedestrians, road bumps or wildlife.

You can also use the main beam on the open road to see more clearly. As long as there are no other cars around, there is usually no harm in turning on the high beam. If another vehicle is approaching or overtaking you, remember to turn them off.

When not to use high beam?

Although high beam lights can help drivers on open roads at night, it is sometimes unsafe to use high beam lights. Whenever you're around other cars, it's usually a bad idea to turn them on.

The high beam lamp is much brighter than the low beam lamp (low beam lamp), so it may dazzle other drivers. When overtaking or driving behind another driver, be sure to turn off the high beam to avoid blindness to others on the road.

The low beam lamp (low beam lamp) points to the ground - hence the name. They are designed to illuminate the road without shining in the eyes of other drivers. However, the main beam points forward. This allows you to see farther ahead, but it means that high beam lights may block oncoming vehicles. The light can also be reflected from the mirrors of other drivers and blind them.

It's not a good idea to use high beam lights in snow, rain or fog. The light from headlights reflects moisture in the air, which is actually more difficult to see. Even low beam lights can be dangerous in fog - that's why your vehicle is equipped with fog lights.
