How to choose an in-line bulb
1. Lamp beads
Lamp beads are the core part of LED lamps. There are two main types of lamp beads used in car headlights: COB lamp beads and CSP lamp beads. COB lamp beads are used in the earliest lamp head mentioned above. They have high luminous efficiency and low price, but they are large in size, inconvenient for stacking power, and difficult to match with the reflector, and the light type is relatively scattered.
CSP lamp beads are the mainstream on the market now. They are relatively small in size, closer to the position of the halogen filament, and better match with the reflector. There are 3 single and 6 double-row lamps, but not double-row lamps are necessarily better than single-row lamps. The power of the row is high, depending on the size of the wick, the single row of 70mil has more power than the double row of 45mil, and the volume of the single row is smaller and more suitable for the reflector, so the actual effect

2. Color temperature
The color temperature is the color of light, and the unit is Kelvin (K). The midday sunlight on a sunny day is about 5500K white light. The smaller the value, the more yellowish it is, and the larger the value, the more blue it is. , the higher the color temperature, the higher the visual brightness, and the better the effect on sunny days. 4500K is relatively balanced and is an ideal color temperature. However, the color temperature of LED lights is mostly 6000-7000K, because the white LED itself is obtained by mixing blue light with yellow phosphors. To reduce the color temperature, more phosphors are needed, the cost is higher, and the luminous flux is lower, but it is not pleasing. If you want 4500K color temperature, you can only find three color temperature variable, but the brightness of this kind of lamp is weaker.
3. Power
The parameter to measure the amount of light is lumens (lm), and the unit of power is watts (w). Watts, so LED lights are brighter than halogen lights, at least 20w.
The actual power of most COB lamp beads on the market is only 15-25w, and the matching degree with the reflector is not high. In the end, it may not be as bright as halogen lamps. If the COB lamp beads want higher power, the area will be very large, and the light will be more bright. scattered.
The power of CES lamp beads is generally 25-60w, because the heat generated by higher power will cause light decay, and even damage the LED wick, and the light efficiency will be greatly reduced. All are fake.
Power recommendation: reflective bowl 20-30w, original car lens 30-55w
4. Heat dissipation
The heat generated by LED car lights is actually not large, but it is not heat-resistant. The current technology is about 120-150 °C junction temperature, so the higher the power, the more efficient heat dissipation is required, otherwise the light will decay or even be damaged. higher than the lamp beads.
Most of the volume of LED lights are heat-dissipating aluminum parts. The temperature of the light source is transmitted to the aluminum parts through the base plate, and then transmitted to the rear end and then further dissipated by a fan or a heat-dissipating belt. For high-power ones, a liquid pipe needs to be used next to the base plate. Speed up thermal conductivity.
Generally, the maximum load of the cooling belt is less than 30w, the fan is 40w, the liquid pipe + fan is more than 50w, and those who claim to have more than 50w without liquid pipe are hooligans.
5. Driver
The function of the drive is to stabilize the current, create a constant current environment so that the lights will not flicker, and the drive with EMC anti-interference can also isolate the interference of the lights on other devices, such as on-board computers, audio, navigation, and interior lights. There are external drives and integrated drives. The integrated drive is smaller in size and has a high pass-through rate, but it will increase the difficulty of heat dissipation. The external drive cannot be installed in some models with small lampshade space.
The on-board computer of the vehicle generally checks whether the current of the lights is normal. If it does not pass, the instrument panel will light up the fault light. Most cars can pass through with EMC, and some models need an additional decoder to pass.
6. Voltage
The voltage of cars is generally 12V, and the voltage of trucks is generally 24V. When buying, you must choose the corresponding voltage style. Now most LED lights are wide voltages that support multiple voltages.
However, when some trucks step on the accelerator, the voltage will fluctuate greatly, causing the lights to flicker. This type of truck can only be solved by choosing a 10-80V ultra-wide voltage model.
7. Model
This is the corresponding halogen lamp interface and plug model. If you choose the same model as the original car, you can replace the original car bulb without damage. The parameters of different models of the same model are the same. The mainstream interface models are: H1, H3, H4, H7, H11 (8/9), 9005 (9006), 9012, the H4 is integrated with the far and near beams, and it uses twice as many lamp beads as the others. The price is generally more expensive than other models, and some models require special buckles.
